Santiago Muédano: Continuar viviendo sin querer

As part of the exhibition Elsa-Louise Manceaux: Voice Notes, artist and musician Santiago Muédano presents a concert-performance addressing clinical depression as a collective experience. Through electroacoustic guitar, instrumental tracks, and layered voices, he creates a soundscape that weaves together the personal and the communal, confronting public space with intimate narratives.

Santiago Muédano (Pantallaga) (Mexico City, 1993) is a multidisciplinary artist who employs absurdity to materialize abstract concepts and expand the notion of drawing into a multidisciplinary practice. A graduate in Visual and Fine Arts from INBA, he has presented solo exhibitions such as Años Sin Intereses (2023) and Primera Gran Carrera CAMINANDO & TEXTEANDO (2019), in addition to participating in group shows such as CRUDO 2: Performance Fest (2023) and Cartografías Ocultas (2022)
