Salón COSA

Salón Cosa returns for its second “pop-up” from February 8 to 12, 2023 and lands at LUST, the most important high-end sneaker store.

On this occasion, they will celebrate the creativity of popular urban culture through the design of outdoor furniture, clothing, personal and home/office accessories, proposing a modern lifestyle dictated by the most avant-garde young creators in the country and guests from cities like Los Angeles and New York.

The meeting will feature an exhibition/sale of more than 20 works by 11 artists and designers from different states of the Mexican Republic and Los Angeles. There will also be a special presentation of “STONE”, the new collection by the Monterrey designer Omareli. Occupying the perimeter that surrounds the COSA store, it will present objects, sculptural and functional works, and avant-garde clothing from some of the most experimental designers in the country. Collectors, attendees, and visitors will also enjoy several novelties: an accessories store and small collectibles in less than 500 USD from creatives who have participated in all the editions of Salón Cosa called COSITAS, designed by the artist Omareli on the second floor of the interior of LUST.

The store will have garments and accessories from proposals such as Cicatrices shop, Tiempos Shop, Marble Stones, 3er mundo (MTY), Ricardo Luevanos (GDL), Josuesy (Edomex), Algo Studio (MTY), Dumdum Studio (MTY), Pardo ( MTY) Georgina Treviño (LA), and Lisa Katnic / Perfume (LA, CDMX) and Honorroller (NY).

Cosa Pop Up at LUST brings together a mix of emerging and established talent, in spheres of production as diverse as graphic design, textiles, fashion, industrial, ceramics, graffiti, architecture, visual and conceptual art.

Participating creators: Algo Studio, Andres Monnier, Bertrand Fompeyrine, Chebos, Estudio Nuñez - Zapata, Georgina Treviño, Helena Garza, Luis Arredondo, Jimena Montemayor , Mauricio Villarreal, Omareli, Rik Bracho, Roberto Michelsen.

Salón COSA is the most innovative and experimental art and design event in Mexico: a biannual gathering of contemporary objects to showcase new talent and expand the limits of contemporary art and design collecting.
