In 2025, it will celebrate its twelfth edition from February 6 to 9 during Art Week in Proyectos Públicos in Mexico City.
Salón ACME is an art platform created by artists for artists that provides visibility, momentum, and diffusion to emerging creators. Since 2013, it has held ten editions and positioned itself as one of the most authentic contemporary art events worldwide, fostering new audiences and consolidating a community of artists, curators, and collectors. Salon ACME features six main sections: Open Call, Bodega, State, Projects, Sala, and Patio.
The work of 79 selected artists will be presented from a total of 1,800 applications. The invited State for this edition is Veracruz, curated by Rafael Toriz, who will present the exhibition "Contours of a Hallucinatory Boat." The invited artist for the Patio section is Julieta Gil, showcasing "Milflores". In total, 29 Project rooms will be featured. Bodega will showcase the work of 21 artists in the exhibition "From Bed to Living Room."
Salon ACME will host special guests from various international institutions such as Centre Pompidou, Thyssen-Bornemisza, Madrid, Kai Art Center of Estonia, Tanoto Foundation of Singapore, and Centre for Postnatural Studies, Madrid. There will be a diverse program of performances, music, gastronomy, as well as art workshops for children by Warholitos.
