This September 18th, Mar de Lava opens its doors to celebrate the start of a special collaboration with Papertrail and The Ant Project.

Direct from Louisville, Kentucky (USA), Papertrail arrives as a traveling installation that brings together more than 400 zines and art books, presenting graphic art as a bridge od community and exchange. The publications, suspended in the air, invite you to look, browse, and interact, while each edition adapts to the host space and incorporates local voices through open calls.

At each stop, the new materials are integrated into the Papertrail Zine Library, a collective archive that, at the end of the tour, will remain as a public resource–physical and digital—serving memory and creaction.
