Punto de Gráfica literaria

General Expenses presents Punto de Gráfica literaria.

Punto de Gráfica Literaria (translated to as literary graphic point) is an editorial exhibition between different cultural agents who propose and reflect on different ways of thinking about the relationship between literature and art. The twelve publishing houses invited to participate proposed a series of publications to be presented in the gallery space on the shelves of a tower structure. The shape is a hint to the polysemy of the myth of the Tower of Babel, where knowledge is constructed collectively around a space for consultation, reflection, and debate; at the same time, it operates as a temporary bookshop and library.

As part of the activities proposed within the context of the exhibition, there will be on view various formats of literary and artistic works such as serigraphs (Editorial Dinamita and Diego Gamaliel), a book-mural (nohacernada), and a site-specific installation (Yániz: Gerardo Aranda). A series of events and presentations of books and projects will also take place.

General Expenses is a meeting point of dialogue and circulation for different cultural practices and creations. For Punto de Gráfica Literaria, we invited all participants to propose their own dynamics and activations to foster an exchange between collective projects and concerns regarding the artistic-literary field.
