Paisaje Interior. Donde el cuerpo se vuelve jardín

-> Nov 11 – Jan 15

Galería Nueva Ciudad de México

Arma Gallery, directed by Arena Martínez and based in Madrid, arrives in Mexico City to present its first group exhibition, Inner Landscape. Where the body becomes a garden, on view at Galería Nueva Ciudad de México.

The project offers a contemporary reading of the body and nature as territories of introspection and memory. Featuring works by Elena Gual, Luis Olaso, Jorge Nava, Natalia Romanciuc, Rob Woodcox, Jiri Hauschka, Papartus, Agus Díaz Vázquez, and Kyte Tatt, the exhibition builds a bridge between contexts and sensibilities, connecting the European roots of the gallery and its artists with the Mexican gaze.

Earth and body are presented as spiritual, emotional, and collective spaces. In Inner Landscape, the body ceases to be an object and becomes a living landscape; nature, understood as an entity, turns into a medium for emotional connection. The works on view span figuration, abstraction, and photography, inviting the viewer to understand silence as language and presence as a gesture of resistance.

The exhibition arrives at a significant moment for the gallery, whose work was recognized at the Erarta Awards at ZONAMACO 2025, alongside photographer Rob Woodcox—one of the most important contemporary art fairs in Latin America, where Arma Gallery will return to participate in 2026.

With this first exhibition in Mexico, Arma Gallery strengthens its international presence, continuing its mission to promote contemporary art from a human and global perspective.
