Otr*s Mund*s: La sombra del polvo

As part of the public program of the exhibition Otr*s Mund*s, the Museo Tamayo presents the performance La sombra del polvo. It will take place both on February 8 and 22 at 13:00 in the museum's courtyard.

The exhibition Otr*s Mund*s presents an experimental format that considers the museum's infrastructure as a material for artistic inquiry. The exhibition includes the piece Consigna al viento by artist Abraham González Pacheco, an installation that frames the central courtyard of the museum and serves as a backdrop for the performances that will take place inside the courtyard throughout the exhibition.

The second activation presented is La sombra del polvo, a contemporary dance performance by Sofía Valto with live music by Yahír Rodríguez. The performance questions the shape of the shadow generated by the dust in one's walk and how it changes, falls, stays and sways during a migration of any kind. Recreating the dance that generates this dust, the shadow that it carries underneath and the sound that is built with each movement.
