Adhesivo Residency presents the Open Studio by Omar Mendoza.

Omar Mendoza (Mexico City, 1993) He studied Visual Arts at the Faculty of Arts and Design at UNAM from 2012-2016. He has 3 individual exhibitions and one to be held at the Museum of Anthropology in Xalapa, Veracruz, for September 2023. Likewise, he has presented his work collectively in various galleries, independent spaces, and museums in Mexico. Likewise, he has been selected in painting contests such as Arte Joven 2016 and Arte Lumen 2015. Currently, he is a scholarship holder of the prestigious FONCA Young Creators program.

He is an artist selected to carry out a project in A Studio in the Woods, sponsored by Tulane University's ByWater Institute, one of the most outstanding artistic and academic programs in the Gulf South of the United States, to be carried out during the spring of 2024. He has participated in residences such as Radio28cs (2019, 2022), Shed (2020), Casa Equis (2020), Mashimón (2018) and the Center for the Arts of San Agustín, Oaxaca (2014, 2015). He has also participated in various art fairs such as Clavo (2021,2022), Feria de la Acción (2020), FAMA (2020, 2022) and FAIN (2021).
