Nay A.M.

Servidor Local presents Flor Pecaminosa, an exhibition selected after the open call "Emplazamiento Llano 2022" that shows the work of Nay A.M. (Nayely Acevedo Martínez) under the curatorship of Ángel Bernal and Hiram Silva.

Sinful Flower is a provocation, which through photography reveals consensual access to the fantasies of others. Creating windows of freedom that remind us that we are bodies destined to feel and be felt. This is Nay A.M's first exhibition where she explores and brings together her collective work entitled “Sinful” to conclude with a series of photographs taken specifically for Servidor Local.

How do we inhabit our bodies? What possibilities exist within our desires? These are some of the questions that Flor Pecaminosa asks throughout the exhibition where erotic restlessness is born from photography, that which seeks to overthrow hegemonic, sexist and repressive social structures. Inhabit our bodies differently and experience pleasures, from the most minuscule and everyday ones, to the most intimate and euphoric.

In this exhibition people are encouraged to propose, to build their desires without prejudice and with joy, where the works of Nay A.M. They take us along a river of pleasures, of knowledge, of individual delights that materialize bodily joy in photography outside of hegemonic regulations to explore and find (us) in a bodily sensitivity that vindicates and re-signifies sensual/sensory experiences.
