Marta Moreno's artistic expression is based on the embroidery technique, she learned this discipline during her childhood as a form of fun, going beyond gender stereotypes. For her, this is not a technique limited solely to the feminine. Instead, she uses threads as brush strokes and gives volume to her works, prioritizing the tactile in each piece. Although Marta began to embroider seriously as an artistic process in 2020, turning embroidery into an art form represented a kind of vindication of technique for her. However, in her work, Marta Moreno does not directly address issues related to the role of women. Instead, her themes revolve around universal and organic aspects that transcend cultural barriers.

Marta's first artistic series arose thanks to her residency at Proyecto T, which became a creative trigger for her. Through her dedication to embroidery, Marta seeks to challenge conventional expectations and create meaningful dialogue around this technique, transcending preconceived ideas and generating a deep connection with the viewer.
