Marc Breslin

Galería Karen Huber presents a show of Marc Breslin (New York, 1983) in the project room of the gallery. On the evening of the opening, at 7:30PM, the artist will read from Sticksville, Breslin’s first collection of short stories. The book of 7 short stories is illustrated by 23 paintings he made and is published by Zolo Press (Mexico City) in 2019. Breslin will exhibit the editioned artworks that accompany the book. The Times of Sticksville is a silkscreened print numbering 100, each heightened with oil stick rendering them unique. Made to resemble the front page of a newspaper, there remains only the title of the newspaper, an image of a motel pool scene and space meant to hold headlines and stories but that remains blank.
