Servidor Local presents the guided tour with artists from the exhibition Justicia entre comillas by Colectivo Mani.

The exhibition Justicia entre comillas, explores the concept of justice in Mexico from a personal experience of the collective lived 16 years ago, from visual research as the main tool, they present three curatorial cores: the investigation of the event, the reflection on Mexican justice and the process to access it. This exhibition is an invitation to dialogue about our context, with a fundamental question: How is justice perceived, lived and felt in Mexico? answered from artistic practice.

MANI COLLECTIVE

The Mani Collective, made up of Mariana Camargo, artist, curator and independent art researcher, and Jorge Iván Camargo, specialist in technology and public policies. Based on a traumatic experience, Mariana and Jorge Iván do not stop talking, listening, and cherishing emotionally. and be accomplices, to each other. They created the collective as a space where, through affection and complicity, they imagine new worlds, question the current state of things and, sometimes, articulate artistic expressions to integrate life experiences.

Mariana Camargo Melendez

She studied a degree in Plastic and Visual Arts at the National School of Painting, Sculpture and Engraving “La Esmeralda”, throughout her career she has carried out cataloguing, research, curating and coordination tasks from private and public institutions.

Jorge Ivan Melendez

Interested in dance, mathematics, soccer and making collages of everything he found. He chose to study Political Science. Currently, he creates innovation, technology and public policy projects that allow the CDMX Government to move towards a digital government.
