Charlas & chelas
Talk
-> Oct 9
Patricia Conde Galería invites you to the activation Charlas & Chelas, an informal conversation with photographers Francisco Mata Rosas and Yael Martínez, held in the framework of the exhibition Mexico: From the Center to the Wound, curated by Emma Cecilia García Krinsky.
This activation proposes a casual exchange—without tables or microphones, standing and close-up—to encourage direct dialogue between artists and audience. Francisco and Yael will share insights about their creative processes, the images that trigger their work, and how their practice engages with the curatorial concept. The talk will be followed by a Q&A session and an informal gathering with drinks.
Mexico: From the Center to the Wound brings together the work of Sonia Madrigal, Yael Martínez, and Francisco Mata Rosas to explore the tensions, memories, and landscapes that shape Mexican contemporary identity and territory. Under the curatorship of Emma Cecilia García Krinsky, the exhibition presents perspectives that move between the intimate and the collective, the painful and the resilient.
