México: desde el centro hasta la herida

Patricia Conde Galería invites you to the closing event of México: desde el centro hasta la herida. As part of the program, we’ll host the second edition of Charlas & chelas, an informal conversation with photographer Sonia Madrigal.

Join us on Saturday, November 8 at 12:30 p.m. at Patricia Conde Galería. Free admission, limited capacity.

This activation proposes a casual format—no table, no microphones, standing and close—to encourage direct dialogue between artists and the audience. Sonia will talk about her process, key images, and how her work engages with the exhibition’s curatorial concept, followed by an open Q&A and an informal gathering with drinks.

México: desde el centro hasta la herida brings together the work of Sonia Madrigal, Yael Martínez, and Francisco Mata Rosas to explore the tensions, memories, and landscapes that shape contemporary Mexican identity and territory. Curated by Emma Cecilia García Krinsky, the exhibition offers perspectives that move between the intimate and the collective, the painful and the resilient.
