Campeche presents Sólidos ingrávidos, the second exhibition at the gallery by Jou Morales.

Jou Morales (Oaxaca, Mexico, 1990) approaches the imaginative act as a form of resistance—a means of preserving the becoming of our time and continuing to transform the world. The works presented in the exhibition are an ode to imagination as a symbolic tool: within them, different times and realities converge—technological pasts and futures coexist within the same space—provoking aesthetic and material contradictions that enter into dialogue with one another. Sólidos ingrávidos is a reflection on the ways we narrate the world and on how fiction remains the most vital and transformative matter within our reach.
