Joshua Merchan Rodriguez (Colombia, 1996) lives and works between Paris and Mexico City. Through his work, Joshua Merchan Rodriguez pays particular attention to what he calls historical, political and poetic “nodes” and the manipulation and displacement of living or non-living matter that takes place in them. Like the merchandising of the Coca leaf in the 18th century or its own vitamin D deficiency due to lack of sun.
