James Thomas

Terreno Baldío presents Designs for Telares Uruapan by American painter James Thomas.

Thomas, who spent much of his life in Mexico, was inspired by the everyday life in small towns to paint striking and vibrant images. This exhibition, which has been shown before, features the tapestries that the artist produced in collaboration with Walter Illsley and Bundy Granich, founders of Telares Uruapan.
