¡Te ves mal! Live streaming on social networks
You look bad! is an act of violated narcissism, where the artist exposes himself in an uncomfortable position, making a fool of himself. The image stems from his penchant for making ugly faces, which has recently increased due to the use of face masks, which, in turn, disguises the artist's facial expressions in public and allows him to make them unabashedly. The viewer can easily identify the author of the work, in a game of mirroring where the former is reflected in the face of the latter.
The transparency of the artist's 'ugly' face emerges, as if coming from the other side of the mirror, a disembodied and floating face of phantasmagoric appearance that unfolds and looks at us, while we observe it.
Together with this piece, the artist has prepared an audiovisual improvisation that will be possible to watch from our mobile phones.
