Centro Cultural de España en México presents the collective exhibition Icono, nación y ciudadanía. Fotografía de la Colección Foto Colectania, featuring works by photographers such as Laia Abril, Helena Almeida, Manel Armengol, Pilar Aymerich, Clemente Bernad, Josep Maria Casademont, Gérard Castello-Lopes, Colita, Joan Colom, Gabriel Cualladó, Jordi Esteva, Cristina García Rodero, Francisco Gómez, Joaquim Gomis, Fernando Gordillo, Roger Guaus, Cristóbal Hara, Manolo Laguillo, Adriana López Sanfeliu, Ramón Masats, Cristina de Middel, Xavier Miserachs, Jorge Molder, Leopoldo Pomés, Jorge Ribalta, Xavier Ribas, Humberto Rivas, Txema Salvans, Rafael Sanz Lobato, Ton Sirera, and Ricard Terré.

The exhibition includes a selection of 150 works by 36 artists, making it an exceptional display that brings together a broad and representative collection of the history of Spanish and Portuguese photography.

Icono, nación y ciudadanía. Fotografía de la Colección Foto Colectania, curated by Carles Guerra, bears witness to the dual process of modernization that began in the 1950s, whose changes are reflected both in the medium of photography and in the societies of southern Europe.
