Francesco Pedraglio

The Italian Institute of Culture presents the last day of the exhibition Breve historia de mostrar y ser mostrado curated by Martina Sabbadini and at 1pm there will be a performance by the artist Francesco Pedraglio.

Author of spoken sculptures and silent performances, Francesco Pedraglio uses writing and performance to create situations that reverse the relationship between narrator and listener, actor and audience, reality and fiction.

Conceived specifically for the Italian Cultural Institute, the exhibition Short Story of Showing and Being Shown unfolds as a tour in which the artworks resonate with the architecture. The script that gives the exhibition its title marks the direction of the visit, the building becomes the stage, the works the scenography and the audience becomes the cast.
