Flor Garduño

Patricia del Conde presents the exhibition Appointments and Encounters by Flor Garduño.

In parallel, the Palacio de Bellas Artes will inaugurate the exhibition Senderos de Vida by Flor Garduño on March 6 at 7 p.m.

Both exhibitions, as curator Ery Camara writes, invite a thorough review and critical rereading that spans more than four decades of creativity by the Mexican photographer. Appointments and encounters is a count of unpublished, unpublished photos and the vast majority of them recently created. Myths, symbols, rites, fantasies and snapshots become, under the gaze of Flor Garduño, a visual poetry that unfolds like a filigree of textures, lights, shadows and figures distributed to accentuate or suggest various intensities in fictions or realities.
