Flood

Flood

Exhibition

-> Feb 6 2024 – May 18 2024

Galería Ana Tejeda presents Flood, a group exhibition that brings together the work of Marina Vargas, Lorena Wolffer, Jorge Ismael Rodríguez, Álvaro Verduzco, Ana Tejeda and Ryuichi Yahagi.

There is a point at which a tiny volume can overflow that which has been contained for an indefinite time, and it is at that moment that the flow takes on impetus and no longer stops. And it is the way in which the flood is perceived, the space taken by elemental physics, that determines whether that moment overwhelms or heals. Flood is the relief to the drought, the moment when that last trickle that could accumulate is activated, overflowing with new life in the face of a persistent drought.

Flood is a collective assembly of international artists who in their discourses persist in the transformations, evolutions and permanences, as a way of resistance and that in a world suffering a drought of empathy and proposal, they flood in order to survive.
