The exhibition brings together objects from the collection of Diego Rivera and Frida Kahlo, alongside works by Juan O’Gorman, Kati Horna, Anselm Kiefer, Iván Argote, Regina José Galindo, and Zhou Tao, as well as historical pieces from the Taller de Gráfica Popular (Leopoldo Méndez, Gabriel Fernández Ledesma, José Chávez Morado, Roberto Montenegro, Santos Balmori, Alfredo Zalce, Antonio Arias Bernal, Adolfo Quinteros Gómez, Alberto Beltrán García, Ángel Bracho, and Ignacio Aguirre).
It also features contemporary artists Miriam Salado, Josué Mejía, Guadalupe Salgado, Roger Muñoz, Jackie Crespo, Gabino Azuela, and Jacobine Van der Meer.
On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the end of World War II, Aesthetics of Domination offers a critical reflection on the visual narratives of fascism and their relevance in contemporary society.
