Elsa-Louise Manceaux

Artist Elsa-Louise Manceaux will lead a guided tour of her exhibition Voice Notes, inviting the audience to engage directly with her work and creative processes in an open and participatory setting.

Elsa-Louise Manceaux (Paris, 1985) lives and works in Mexico City. Her pictorial practice explores the relationship between context, information, and material. The themes she develops in her work connect history with imagination; body(ies) with mind(s); and the human with the non-human. She also weaves visual language with humor, proposing installation formats and in-situ gestures. Recent solo and group exhibitions include Orgasmos en el fondo, Museo Experimental El Eco, Mexico City (2023); Las épocas caleidoscópicas, Museo Cabañas, Guadalajara (2022); and Parasitajes / Ruidos Negros, Museo de Arte Carrillo Gil, Mexico City (2020).
