El Arte de las Emociones

LIONSGATE+ celebrates El Arte de las Emociones, an immersive art experience scheduled for 8 and 9 October.

El Arte de las Emociones features the works of local artists and creators: Cocolvú, Raul Urias, Rocca Luis César, Ricardo Garduño and a custom collaborative installation by Pia Riverola x Florever MX. All artworks featured are curated to align with the emotions ASOMBRO, DRAMA, INSPIRACIÓN, INTRIGA, PASIÓN and ROMANCE.

Ricardo Garduño will be on-site to create a custom work of art live at the event over the course of the two-day program.

In addition to these artists’ visual works, the event features DJ sets – also interpreted through emotions. On Saturday, three DJ sets curated by Mexico-based DJ, Yasmin (Trippin Co-founder), will include a Blorolizo performance, a set by DJ Escuby and a set by Yasmin herself. For the second day (Sunday), three Dj sets will be curated by the creators of the biggest vinyl-only parties in Mexico, Noche Negra and its founder Mariana Maduro.

Performative dancers, led by Diego Vega, will flow throughout the space each day. The artistic movements will transform the body into a canvas of feelings, showcasing the different emotions that we will be highlighting throughout the event program.

Additional experiences and offerings include an interactive, illustrated art piece that allows attendees to participate in creating an emotional piece together, live at the event. Guests also have the opportunity to bring their own feelings to life and take home an “emotional portrait” photographed by Noel Higareda.

This two-day public event will take place from 11:00-19:00 each day at Salón Barcelona.
