Coalescencia_02: Cartas sobre los ciegos y sordos para aquellos que pueden ver y oír

Centro Cultural de España en México presents in Coalescencia_02: Cartas sobre los ciegos y sordos para aquellos que pueden ver y oír [Letters about the blind and deaf for those who can see and hear] where they participate: Mario Bellatin, Philippe Eustachon, Samantha Leff and Andrea Bores (curated by Enrique Arriaga).

For the second session of the Coalescence cycle, this montage is presented that takes up and twists the novel Etchepare. A place where fiction is cooked and discussed, a double tragedy that cancels itself. A four-voice dialogue between Andrea Bores, Mario Bellatin, Philippe Eustachon and Samantha Leff, which exhibits the processes, what happens outside the text, behind the scenes, before or after the presentation; and merges the narrative, sound and scenographic layers into a single element.

A transit space within the CCEMx becomes the kitchen of a ship taken over by pirates, which in turn is the writing workshop for the blind of the Etchepare alienated colony besieged by murderous dogs, where some brothers live, both blind and deaf, protagonists of this story that happens while it is writing itself.
