Open talk on sound artistic practices x Sound Ninja

Servidor Local presents La dimensión sonora 2.0, a talk on sound artistic practices, in which, based on the dialogue with special guests, a conversation will be opened to the public about the sound experience that can be lived from different projects and practices.

This activity is part of the Sound Program of the exhibition Sound Sculptures: an exploration of the minimal components of the environment by Mario Rodríguez.

Sound Ninja began as an art and sound dissemination proposal for a radio entity, exploring and theorizing about sound and music through the radio device, that is, in a metadiegetic way. From this point, it was thought to integrate an image area to cross various media and supports.

The idea is to bring audiences closer to the understanding of sound and musical phenomena, based on various situations, concerns, texts or emblematic notions of the study of music and the soundscape, whose thematic axis is mainly installed on the cultural impact and relevance what these have for contemporary urban life. Sound Ninja is a collective composed of David Ovando Sánchez, Frida Natalia Sánchez Machuca and Victoria Villalobos Ornelas.
