Carolina Ponte

The Enrique Guerrero Gallery presents the solo exhibition Adornando el absurdo by Carolina Ponte.

Carolina Ponte's work has as its main reference the integration of popular ornamental practices to contemporary production. Crochet and drawing are the main supports used by the artist, who also explores the combination of different patterns, colors and rhythms in works with a strong installation inclination.

For the exhibition adornando el absurdo at Galeria Enrique Guerrero, Carolina Ponte will show paintings from a new series that began to be produced in 2022, an installation with with large-format collages made from prints, in addition to a piece of crochet and tapestry.
