Here's the Castillo de Chapultepec Auction, 2025 edition.
The auctions of El Castillo de Chapultepec are periodic contemporary art auctions envisioned as a financial model for a local artistic community. The scheme aims to ensure a fair distribution of resources, to explore other mechanisms of collaboration, and to promote a dialogue around the commercialization of art. The money collected from sales is used to compensate the artists’ work, to support the establishment of the banquito solidario (lil solidarity bank for artists), and to continue with the development process of El Castillo de Chapultepec, a nonprofit institution.More than 150 artists connected to the local community will participate in The Annual Auction of El Castillo de Chapultepec 2025, each contributing a unique piece thought specifically for the occasion. The invitation was extended to those who participated in the previous annual auction and further broadened to include more artists with the aim of continuing to grow.
