Bernardo Orduño

The Project Room at Galería Enrique Guerrero presents Mnemosine by Bernardo Orduño.

As a contemporary artist, Orduño's practice focuses on the exploration of memory through archival images, curiosity about the remnants of the past and Western iconography. He is interested in how these images and symbols have been used throughout history to represent and communicate ideas.

His works show that the importance of history lies not only in the content of the stories, but also in the way they are told. Bernardo explores and plays with different elements of the past to bring them to the surface and create new works that dialogue with the present.
