Batik Workshop

Lugar Usual presents the Batik Workshop in its La Chiquita space.

The art of batik is a versatile and unique technique originating from the island of Java (Indonesia) and which means "cloth of drops".

This ancient technique consists of creating layers of wax so that the dye is different in each piece of cloth. In this workshop we will learn from scratch about the batik technique through the creative process of the Colombian artist Gabriela Estrada.

For this workshop it is not necessary to have previous knowledge, we only need your desire to learn.
