Pequod Co. is hosting the closing of the exhibition Barbarismos: una exhibición colectiva a partir del poema epónimo de Ricardo Limassol in presence of the poet and the curator fernanda ramos mena.
The show brings together th work of thirteen artists in an intergenerational visual dialogue about decadency, ruin, lenguage and dystopia: subjective worlds that coexist inside a superstructure.
Taking as a pretext -or provocation- a 2012 poem written by Ricardo Limassol, the work of Gina Arizpe, Yolanda Benalba, Andrea Ferrero, Cristian Franco, Lucía Hinojosa Gaxiola, Julián Madero Islas, Theo Michael, Raquel Moreno, Erin M. Riley, Adriana Salazar, Abril Salgado, Erick Saucedo and Sergio de la Torre is exhibited.
