Artists for Palestine

Non-profit auction

Proyectos Multipropósito presents Artists for Palestine. Solidaridad x Palestine, an urgent call from the mexican artistic Community through a non-profit auction project.

Starts on June 6 and 7 - from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.

June 8, 5:30 p.m. : auction

The initiative, Solidaridad x Palestine, arises from the prevailing need to join forces in support of the Palestinian people, in the face of the serious situation they currently face. This initiative has been promoted by the Mexican artistic community, which, aware of its social responsibility and the transformative power of art, has decided to act.

Artists, cultural managers and art agents have joined forces to create a fundraising space through a solidarity auction. This event not only seeks to raise funds, but also to be a channel for dialogue, reflection and resistance to the genocide that is being committed in the territory of Palestine. The situation in Gaza is critical, with thousands of lives at risk and an urgent need for international support to stop the violence and provide humanitarian aid.

Since the auction began to take shape, more than 100 artists have answered the call, generously donating their works or finding various ways to contribute to the cause. This impressive number reflects not only the solidarity of the Mexican artistic community, but also the urgency and severity of the conflict in Gaza.

The purpose of this auction is clear: allocate 20% of the profits to the production of the participating artists, 15% to the management of the event and 15% of the payment to the public program, while the remaining 50% will go to the foundations certified companies dedicated to the defense of the Palestinian territory and the remuneration of participants in the public program.

The foundations committed to providing direct and effective support to the victims of the conflict that we will support are: -Palestinian Children's Relief Fund (PCRF) WWW.PCRF.NET -National Institute of Solidarity with the Palestinian People (INASH) WWW.INASH.ORG -Doctors Without Borders (MSF) WWW.MSF.ORG/PALESTINE

The event will take place on June 6, 7 and 8 of the current year at Sevilla 10, Floor 2, Juárez, Cuauhtémoc, Mexico City, in Proyectos Multipropósito. The showroom will be open to the public on June 6 and 7 from 12:00 AM to 6:00 PM, allowing attendees to learn about the works and the work of the artists involved. The bidding will take place on June 8 at 5:30 PM, culminating this solidarity effort.

This collective effort would not be possible without the collaboration of Proyectos Multipropósito, who have generously offered their space to hold the event. The solidarity and commitment of everyone involved is a powerful testament to how the arts community can mobilize to confront injustices and support those who need it most.

We invite everyone to join this cause, knowing the conflict and trying to spread it and support any initiative for Palestine, the situation requires our attention and immediate action. Together, we can make a significant difference in the lives of many people who are dying because of the actions of the Israeli government.
