1st Aparador Cuchilla Auction

Aldo Chaparro and Casa MM present the 1st Aparador Cuchilla Auction.

With the support of Casa MM and Memo Martínez, the proceeds from the auction will be used to finance Aparador Cuchilla, a project by Aldo Chaparro Studio that promotes and promotes emerging artists and independent educational projects through all of its studios.

Aldo Chaparro Studio uses its different studios in Lima, Los Angeles, Madrid, CDMX, Monterrey and Paris, as a platform dedicated to exhibiting not only Aldo's work, but also that of other artists; integrating the activity of the studios with that of the different communities where they develop their work, thus generating a dialogue, a work of support and collaboration with those places that have welcomed their production and ideas.

From the Villa de García studio in Nuevo León (1999), the Celeste Bar (2011), and in the different studios to this day, these are some of the artists who have worked in the different spaces:

Mario García Torres, Los Lichis, Stefan Brüggemann, Andrea Galvani, Mark Dion, Nick Payne, Tony Oursler, Miltos Manetas, GraphicSurgery, Monika Bravo, Iván Krassoievitch, Gerold Miller, Sarah Rara, Lorna Mills, Ryder Ripps, Rafael Rozendaal, Ana Montiel, PabloDávila , Gwladys Alonzo, Francois Bucher, Laura Anderson Barbata, Ubermorgen, Francesco Pedraglio, Luis Camnitzer, Alice Wagner, Adriana Minoliti, Ben Jones, Assume vivid astro focus, Terence Koh, Brian Kokoska, Tezontle, Carlos Fernández-Pello Ø Alfredo Rodríguez, Esther Merinero, Monica Mays, Wendy Cabrera Rubio, Ingo Niermann and Keren Cytter.
