Paul Muguet

RGR presents a closing event on the occasion of the exhibition Pictorial Warps in which the artist Paul Muguet will be present.

Pictorial Warps retrieves the motifs of Mexican textiles and re-contextualizes them in the art world through painting, allowing a transfer of visual identities towards new meanings for the viewer. Muguet has worked on painting and sculpture, resources that will enable him to explore what he calls “the concerns, interests, emotions that occur in any person’s daily life.” Muguet identifies that the experiences of a person are inscribed in everyday objects and that in them, we will therefore find different approaches to color and design.
