I Did Everything For You To See Me is the name of a small collection of poems by Dalia Rosetti, heteronym of the Buenos Aires artist Fernanda Laguna. It was published by Belleza y Felicidad, the legendary independent publishing house and space in Buenos Aires(1999-2008). Rosetti's verses are simple: "Spending money is nice and it's nice to get paid/Earn money with work." This exhibition aims to maintain the same light spirit of that poet.Sang-sik Hong (South Korea, 1974) creates volumes and gradients using only straws. He makes body parts: lips, eyes, buttocks. His pieces generate a desire to touch them. Ricardo Luévanos (Guadalajara, 1985) opts for visual bluntness: lively images and direct phrases.These come from his notebooks, the authors he's interested in, other artists, or simply notes that he keeps in his memory. In his production he also has "objects of emotional support", everyday furniture that he intervenes with messages and neon lights. Karian Amaya (Chihuahua, 1986) works mainly with copper and marble, materials that have always been close to her for two reasons: the mineral deposits in the place in which she was born, and that her father was a miner. In her work she plays with the patinas and oxidations that form in metals. Her sculptural practice is formally close to minimalism, however, it is far from the asepsis with which this movement is thought of.
