Casa Equis
Gallery
Casa Equis is an art space self-managed by artists Diego Beyró and Carleti Lopez Traviesa, which started in an apartment in 2018. Since February 2019, it moved to a new space at street level, in the same building, a few meters from the Museo del Chopo in the colonia Santa María la Ribera. Casa Equis is a fusion between an independent space and a traditional art gallery. The gallery represents works for limited periods of time. The main hall exhibits works by more than 50 artists, some emerging and others more consolidated, resulting in a wide variety of prices. The space now has 4 exhibition rooms in addition to the main hall. Casa Equis also organizes talks, workshops and drawing sessions.
