Biquini Wax EPS is a collective initiative dedicated to the experimentation and exhibition of contemporary art. It also serves as a space for reflection and dialogue between other disciplines such as poetry, economics, philosophy, aesthetics, politics and art history. Biquini Wax is currently composed of different artists, curators and writers, which are made up of two sub groups: Arte&Trabajo and Yacusis. The members include Daniel Aguilar Ruvalcaba (who started the collective in 2011), Paloma Contreras Lomas, Cristobal Garcia, Israel Urmeer, Roselin Rodriguez Espinosa, Julio Garcia Murillo, Natalia de la Rosa, Abraham Gonzalez Pacheco, Alejandro Arias, Mauricio Andrade, Nika Pika, Bernaldo Nuñes and Gustavo Gruz. Since its creation, the collective has carried out around one hundred exhibitions and art installations in addition to collaborating with 150 artists. BIQUINI WAX mainly focuses on emerging Mexican and Latin American art. They also organize meetings and lectures frequently.
