El jardín del Edén

Arte Expuesto presents El jardín de el Edén, an exhibition of the work of Román Eguía that will be shown on the panoramic route during the month of November.

In November Arte Expuesto will show a series of drawings where texts and images combine to create a dialogue.

A dialogue between the image and the text but also a dialogue between two people who write romantic phrases to each other; also a dialogue between the spectator and the work.

This series present the drawing and also the original model where these two also make a dialogue between the real and the symbolic.

In these pieces we read the conversation between these two people in love who leave each other messages written on everyday consumer objects.

Where there is a comparison between consumerism and feelings. Love for another human being but also love for objects.

For example, Bienvenida a mi Mente is one of the pieces in the series and alludes to the desire not only for another person but also for things. It also refers to the importance of dialogue as a tool for connection and persuasion.

The series is titled El jardín del Edén. Here the naïf style flowers drawn on the objects represent this garden where the two characters live their love story.
