Parte 2. Contenedores

Yo Studio presents its next exhibition: Parte 2. Contenedores, a collaborative project that brings together the work of Dalia Vázquez, Daniel Loa and Tania Martínez.

The usual conception of the term “container” refers to that “which serves to deposit waste, materials and various objects”. For the second part of the project Once Ocho Cinco, the guiding theme involves different ways of translating this term, in which the body is postulated as a container, conceptualized according to its volume in space and time, as well as in the individual exploration that each participating artist makes of it, with the intention of dialoguing from the personal discourse to the collective.

This second part of Once Ocho Cinco is conformed by three interdisciplinary projects that start from the sculptural, objectual and audiovisual, in an effort to approach the guiding concept from the autobiographical experience to the post-individual exteriorization.
