El juego de las cosas
Drexel Gallery invites to the opening of its show: El juego de las cosas, an exhibition of Nicola Lorusso's work.
Photographer who lives and works in Mexico City since 2001. In his work he shows aspects of everyday life that sometimes go unnoticed by the fast rhythm of the viewer's life. His work shows short stories or micro events of three images accompanied by a text about the photographer's thoughts; this was his way of communicating with the public in a more direct, simple and genuine way.
In his personal search he has dealt with social themes and allusive to human activities, as well as industrial, architectural and landscape photography.
He is also interested in the theme of the city as an element full of interpretations and metaphors, and as the great container of possible images, while at the same time being an impossible subject to portray.
