Javier Arjona

Yo Studio presents Hiperlink, a solo exhibition with the recent work of artist Javier Arjona.

Javier Arjona investigates the potential sensorial mechanisms generated by the exponential propagation of the virtual, from a field where the real subsumption is a world without transcendence, where the only way to go beyond is to exhaust its possibilities and push every tendency to its maximum power. From the implementation of an intricate and complex stroke, Javier's work (drawing, painting, elements, supports) overflows through an open hyperspatial lattice, displacing the limits of his subjectivity. This unfolds like the wiring that is braided between networks of servers; like the continuous flow of Yottabytes, or like the network of terminals of the peripheral nervous system. What is represented piles up and collapses, discharging itself into the post-natural substrate of the geosphere; and coexists among neural connections, emoticons, multiverses and everyday objects, among other entities and structures.
