Gibrán Turón

Galeria Gotxikoa invites you to participate in the workshop Eres mi primer pensamiento del día, guided by the artist Gibrán Turón.

This workshop proposes a practical and conceptual approach to the fanzine as a medium for personal and collective expression. Guided by artist Gibrán Turón, the participants will explore the fanzine as a flexible format, starting with collage, writing and graphic intervention to build their own publication.

The workshop seeks to activate spontaneous processes of creation that favor experimentation, error and dialogue between images and words.

About the artist

Gibrán Turón is a visual artist and editor. His work intersects with expanded graphics, landscape intervention and independent publishing. Through methods of collecting, archiving and printing, his practice questions the boundaries between the printed, the performative and the territorial. He has participated in exhibitions and editorial projects in Mexico and abroad.

Requirements

No previous experience is required. Participants should bring materials they wish to incorporate into their fanzine (photocopies, texts, images, cut-outs, etc.). The rest of the basic materials will be provided.
