En Paralelo: Paisaje, Tránsito y Consumo

Yo Studio presents En Paralelo: Paisaje, Tránsito y Consumo, a group exhibition curated by Francisco Benítez that brings together the work of Itziar Garza, Andrés Maldonado, and Allison Marcial.

En Paralelo: Paisaje, Tránsito y Consumo gathers three individual artistic proposals that, through images, find starting points for reflecting on different ways of inhabiting, observing, and speculating on our practices and environments. Itziar Garza delves into nature using extreme close-ups to reconsider scale as an aesthetic and cognitive factor in our perception of the natural world. Andrés Maldonado bases his proposal on the problem of vehicular traffic; his work offers an incisive critique of the dynamics of mobility in cities and their impact on everyday life. Meanwhile, Allison Marcial, faced with the invisible violence of the meat industry, invites viewers to consider their role as consumers and to rethink the relationships we have with food culture.
