Emilio Said

Drexel Galería presents Órbita expandiendo el tiempo, a solo exhibition of recent art work by Emilio Said.

Emilio Said's work is a whole that mutates every time it is mentioned. Drastic in his process of conceptual condensation, the artist fuses technique, length and power. The result borders on the minimalism of pure forms. Discipline achieved by the negative way: beauty by subtraction. We detect the method or mathematical guideline. The rhythmic flow that connects the nodes. Expanding the range of the work and its discourses through the transit or constant dialogue between each painting. The phenomenon has several layers and waves over abstract planes. It places the ends at a transcendent level. Inevitable attraction of depth. The symbiosis between concept and form, idea and body, is linked to processes of identity and metamorphosis. Chaos solves doubts in its way.

Each painting constitutes an autonomous discourse, an output that feeds the others and structures the proposal, giving it a significant meaning by generating a polyphony. Use silence as a map.

Susan Sontag claims that silence or emptiness produces something dialectical: a form of dialogue, a language. At the same time that he evolves, Emilio Said leaves trails. Document the intuition of emptiness with maximum resources. The intangible floats. Always surrounded by traces and symbols, ideograms and codes, before entering a Whole. That impulse is what we are. The same if we contemplate the stars, the same if we examine the atom. At any scale, from any angle, the same landscape. Cosmic matter or elementary particles. For now, this. This arsenal of works. This frenetic pack of conceptual poetry. An ensemble of radical abstractions expanding time.
