As part of the Art Week program in Monterrey, Centro Cultural Plaza Fatima will present activations of the current exhibitions by Tetei Cornejo, Luis Figueroa, David Nahúm and Marscelo.
Eugene - Eugene, or three mothers of Eugenio by Tetei Cornejo, is a Butoh choreography, which takes as a reference movements or postures that modify our relationship with the body during pregnancy. The research arises from a series of interviews with women mothers, in which they talk about the postures that their body adopted during pregnancy, how it moved, how it weighed, how it bent or stretched, the result is a series of drawings and a short choreography in which these movements are replicated, the sound piece of the performance is "Canto para Eugenio" which is currently exhibited at Centro Cultural Plaza Fatima.
A culinary experience based on the paintings of Luis Figueroa will take place with Chef Aranza García, serving sweet and savory snacks based on cactus, agave, palm tree, etc.
The installation Horizonte by David Nahúm and Marscelo, a sound, olfactory and visual sensory immersion around the circle and its mysticism, will also be activated.
