Open Studio: Enrique Hernández

On February 3, Residencia 797 opens its doors to present Enrique Hernández's open studio.

Enrique Hernández (Guadalajara, MX, 1975). Enrique Hernández’s work is mainly a process of experimentation with painting and drawing. The artist manifests an understanding of the effects of memory and how this reconfigures our perception. His starting point are personal and found visual archives that are edited and distorted in order to create new compositions, in which palimpsests and sedimentation are not exempt, thus generating a subjectively charged visual glossary.
