Design Today is an event with talks on the current design position: emerging theories, issues facing the discipline, recent practices and themes; explained by national and international design profiles. The event focuses on a broad, inclusive, experimental and critical design practice.

Design Today is organized by the Jefatura de Multidisciplina y Diseño (Pad Jalisco) of the Secretaría de Cultura de Jalisco; with the support of the Department of Architecture, Design and Fashion of the British Council and the Escuela de Arquitectura, Arte y Diseño del Tecnológico de Monterrey.

Cost: $270-$600 plus event fees.

Tickets: through Ticketmaster or at Teatro Degollado box office (10% discount available for teachers and students at the box office).

"Designing a Sustainable Future: Innovation, Collaboration, and the Bio-Revolution" by United Matters

October 26th & 27th 9:00 to 14:00hrs: Workshop "Design for the non-human" by United Matters
