In Love’s a Chess Game, the artist proposes an intimate reading of emotional relationships as territories of tension and vulnerability. Drawing from her own biography, marked by instability and displacement, her practice does not emerge as an escape or a site of healing, but rather as a constant attempt to represent those fragile places where the human mind wavers.

Through a multidisciplinary approach, the artist uses painting and textile intervention to symbolically create a parallel between romantic bonds and chess, highlighting how relationships can devolve into power dynamics where emotional connection is replaced by strategy. The work does not seek to resolve these tensions, but to expose them.
